App Design Concept

Scavenger Hunt is a concept design for a phone app, and it is basically like navigating a very simple game of scavenger hunt through an app. Here, people will place objects around the area you are currently located, and then people will set up little scavenger hunts for people to complete. It’s partially inspired by geocaching, Pokémon Go and just by scavenger hunts in general. There will be some scavenger hunts that require people to take a picture of what they need to find, some that require them to dig up something the gamemaster has hidden, and some things that require them to talk to a person. It can be something done casually or competitively. For the casual players, they can take their time and complete it at their own pace as a passive way to explore the areas they live in. For the competitive people, they can join leagues or set up games that time them on how quickly they can collect all the scavenger hunt materials. Sometimes the lists are just exactly what they need to find, sometimes they are locations they need to find something at, and sometimes they are riddles that need to be deduced. Regardless, this is a simple game that focuses a lot on the map and simple menuing.
